Everyone has a favorite TV show or multiple TV shows that they enjoy to watch. This or these tv shows that you enjoy to watch could be ones that you could binge watch for hours. Some of the TV shows that I enjoy to watch/binge watch on Netflix are: The 100, The Umbrella Academy, Dear White People, On My Block, The Magicians. The reason this shows are appealing to me is because most of them are about adventure and going on a journey of sorts,either an emotional journey or just journey. All the TV shows that I have listed are either a comedy w/ real world problems.While some are set in a dystopian world.

Dear White People and On My Block take place in the real world and deal with real world problems. Dear White People is an examination of racial politics in college,but it also incorporates comedy. The show is very interesting because the dialect in the show is very advance because the students go to an ivy league school,so the language in the show is very sophisticated. On My Block deals with adolescents and their life in a Hispanic and Black neighborhood in South Central Los Angeles,the show also adds a comedic element to the show. I enjoy this show because its a comedy and it keeps me laughing,but I mostly enjoy it because on how I can relate to some of the things in the show. While The 100 is set in a dystopian world where the earth has been destroyed by nuclear bombs and people were sent to live in space for about 97 years,now they are running out of resources so they send 100 people down to earth to test it and that’s where the adventure begins. I started watching this show like one year ago and I was hooked once I watched the first episodes. The Umbrella Academy is a show about a group of people who were born on the same day and they were born with abilities. They are brought together by a billionaire who wants to start a superhero group,the group become a family. After a while the family fractures and disbands. I enjoy the show because it doesn’t focus on the superhero part as much but on the characters and their development throughout the show. The Magicians is another of my favorite show because it is set in the real world but there is this another world,and at the other world there is a school where college students go to learn magic. It’s sort of like Harry Potter but more realistic. This show is appealing to me because it sort of reminds me of the Harry Potter movies/books. I started watching the show on Netflix during the summer and I finished watching the seasons,now i’m just waiting for Netflix to add a new season.
